I will try to start putting my food diary in my blog now. I do have a hard time keeping track of it. So maybe this will help me work harder at this.

4 slices of turkey bacon on wheat toast
One pc of chicken and sweet potato
Protean shake
Chicken sandwich with a pickle ½ potatoes
Looks like I still need to eat more when looking at it this way.
I walked for 2.45 hours about 5-6 miles and worked out at boot camp for one hour.

Today is Friday February 26 been a excellent week of work outs and I have done a lot of walking this week. I am trying to get back on my walking. Thinking back on last year I could not walk but a few feet and I would have to sit down. The pain was so bad in my back and legs it was hard to keep moving. Now I am doing about 3 to 5 miles a day and I feel so much better after a good walk. Sunday is week four weight in I hope I have a good week like last week when I lost 5.8 lbs. I would love for 10 lbs this week.

I was a food addict. Last august I feel on my knees and cried out to God .I pored my hart out being nearly 500 lbs was hard to grip got to a spot I could not walk and I was eating me self to an premature grave. And heartbreaking to say I did not care. but psalms 40:1-2 said it all, he brought me out of a deep pit and sit my feet on a rock. Now each day is tough but I found what was not there from deep in me. that is having fun. Living each day not just to get healthier but also to live large help others who deal with some type of dependence. And the 1st steep is falling on your knees and crying out to God for help. With out him nothing can be done he give power and love just as as I child holds up there hands when they fall down and we pick them up so will the father as soon as we fall down.

Next big weigh is Sunday for biggest loser. I would be more contented when I can see the fat falling off. But I don’t believe it yet. And I don’t see it yet. For some reason I still feel like I need to give extra. I do love the workouts and I recognize it takes time. And I have come a long way ever since august. I just would love to get to my target of 200 lbs and put on nice clothing and stride with my head up high.

WEEK TWO!

Week two is over had a goal of 8.3 lbs only pulled 2.8 lbs giving a total of about 10 lbs for two week with ten more to go I am still having a hard time getting up in the early hours for my work out but I do love the evening work out . It is just as hard this week I will pick up more and get back doing more walking. Trying to think back to the pain I had in my legs when I was over 450 lbs it felt like needles in my legs and it would hurt so bad when autumn would rub my legs but it would give back feeling in my legs . I don’t what to deal with that again I love working out now it is hard but when it is over I feel so great and it is a lot better then the pain I did feel.

“What is my motivation?”

Our mind will play tricks on us! When you are obese no matter how much weight you lose you still feel fat. Only time I don’t feel fat is after a good work out. Last night had a great workout and even had some cheering me as I was trying to do a reverse plank. It was my 1st time to do it and I felt great. I need to lose 100 lbs by the end of the season and I need to work more on my self steam I am having a hard time this season don’t feel like I am giving my best yet and I guess it scares me somewhat. But I do know I need to find the missing element to fire me up. And I can not seem to know what is wrong. What is it an actor will say? “What is my motivation?” I know it’s is hope and autumn but something is missing.

calm before the storm

Tomorrow will be a hard day. Super bowl Sunday! You know, chicken wings, cheese dip ECT. But I will try to eat healthier Sunday and I am a little scared Sunday is 1st weigh in and I need 8.3 lbs to keep going for 100 lbs by season end had a good day today eat good walked a mile with my wife and had salsa for dinner love that hot stuff. The salsa and my wife! If you have a bad day just get back up and start again move each day turn of the TV. And get out and move. You will feel better.

IT’S SATURDAY MORNING AND IT IS TIME TO GET OUT AND DO SOME WALKING I HAD ½ OF A TURKEY BACON SANDWICH ON WHOLE WHEAT BREAD WITH LETTUCE AND TOMATO’S THIS IS MY LAST CHANCE WORK OUT. I AM GOING FOR 100 LBS IN THREE WEEKS SO I NEED 8.3 LBS A WEEK TO GET THAT GOAL AND THAT WOULD GET ME TO 250 LBS WITH ONLY 50 MORE LBS TO GO.

biggest loser season two


been hard getting back in to the work out routine . i know i need to push harder i do have a goal of losing 100 lbs in 12 weeks been hard working on what i need to get me there. love working out like eating better. but the ghost of my past failing hunts me. can i get past this and push harder then i did last season.. i guess the secret is taking one day at a time and when it's to hard push harder. it still is better then last august!
